Bowen Therapy is a gentle and effective soft-tissue therapy that works with your body to deliver results and optimise your body's potential ability to heal itself. Every treatment session focuses on the individual needs of the client.

Bowen Therapy, often known as 'Bowen', uses gentle, subtle rolling moves performed over muscle and connective tissue to activate and support the body's ability to maintain or regain balance, order and harmony. Moves are applied to specific locations on the body with therapeutic pauses or rests between moves to enhance integration.

Bowen Therapy can bring about relief from: anxiety/stress-related conditions; back pain; digestive/bowel issues; fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome; general muscle stiffness; headaches and migraines; joint problems; respiratory conditions; sports injuries; jaw and teeth-grinding issues; hormonal imbalances and newborn baby problems e.g., colic.

CranioSacral Therapy

More info CranioSacral Therapy (CS) is a gentle manual, hands-on technique used to release fascial tension and support the body's connective tissue network. Restrictions to the flow of cerebrospinal fluid are gradually released allowing the nervous system to reset.

It is suggested that clients wear lightweight, loose clothing.
For this treatment, the client lies on their back.

Treatments are 60-minutes duration.

More info Therapeutic Touch (TT) is an evidence-based, non-invasive treatment available for both mainstream and complementary care. It can help people feel calmer and studies have shown that clients report reductions in pain and stress levels as well as symptom relief and improved sleep.
Clients may choose to be seated or lying on their back on a treatment table.

Appointments are 30-40 minutes in duration.

MSTR - McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release

More info McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release is a treatment using a gentle fingertip technique to breakdown and release tissue restrictions on and around scars. It is a type of connective tissue mobilisation.
In particular, MSTR technique aids in releasing and breaking down tight and restrictive collagen fibres, and improving lymph and blood flow in and around the scar.

At your appointment please briefly outline your main concern regarding the scar tissue and location you want treated.
Appointments will be 30-45 minutes duration depending on the size of the scar area being addressed.

Note: There are contradictions for MSTR treatment as follows: surgical mesh, active tumour site of cancer and infected wounds/contagious diseases. Scarwork can begin 8 weeks after the scar starts forming/post event.
